Group
Therapy

Group therapy is a form of psychotherapy that aims to help people manage mental health conditions or cope with negative experiences and behaviors. Group therapy usually focuses on a specific mental health concern, such as social anxiety or depression. Some other examples of conditions a group may focus on include:  

  • generalized anxiety disorder

  • post-traumatic stress disorder

  • panic disorder

  • phobias

  • depression

  • attention deficit hyperactivity disorder

  • substance use disorder

  • grief

  • chronic pain

  • anger management

  • domestic violence

Couples
Therapy

Couples therapy is for couples who are in a relationship, married or not. The goal of couples therapy is to improve the couples' relationship. This type of therapy can also help couples decide whether or not they should continue staying together. Although the focus of couples therapy is on the couple, there are times when the individual psychological issues of one or both parties need to be addressed.

Therapy often includes sessions designed to improve:

  • problem solving 

  • build communication skills,

  •  identify life goals and relationship responsibilities  

  • infidelity 

  • financial problems

  • illness

  •  anger

My Approach

My goals are to assist clients with processing and coping with cognitive behavioral distortions and discrepancies, with the aim to assist clients in becoming more self-aware at the same time encompassing the entire human experience.  As a licensed professional counselor, I work with anxiety, depression, anger management, stress reduction, and self-care application. I utilize clinical counseling principles, methods, and procedures to assist clients in achieving more effective personal, social, educational, career development and adjustment.

 I am a passionate, ambitious, ethical professional with communication proficiency and the required experience to successfully work with a diverse clientele base. I believe that my professional background coupled with my personal life experiences make me a very well rounded licensed professional counselor.
